About Us

The Training and Action for Patient Safety programme is delivered by Peaks Partnership, improvement specialists who have expertise in improvement methods.  The programme was designed by the Bradford Institute for Health Research and the Improvement Foundation, in collaboration with a panel of active clinicians who are experts in patient safety.

The Bradford Institute for Health Research

Opened in April 2007, the Institute brings together researchers from both Bradford hospital sites, Bradford PCT and collaborators at the Universities of Leeds, Bradford and York.  The Quality and Safety Unit has an established record of addressing key, clinically relevant questions in patient safety, and has a large programme of nationally funded research and development projects.
